The guideline requirement is to check clean stream quality near the equipment. Unfortunately old installations do not have this steam sampling point near equipment. If sample has to be taken near the equipment, Lot of modifications are required to add sampling pots to bring chilled water lines to the facility, to avoid this we have come up with new equipment which is truly portable and does not require any utility (chilled water, portable water) except electricity.
Sampling System Process :
- The Sampling pot system consists of Pot with evaporator coil embedded in it.
- The design of the pot is as per Pharmaceutical company requirement with MOC of 316 electro polished.
- The pot is mounted on the chilling unit.
- In presence system once the system is started, it will collect condensate at a flow rate of 6 Litres / Hr.
- It is a portable device with wheels for portability & will be provided with handles for lifting to higher places.
Following are the major components required for Steam Sampling System :
- Sampling Pot SS316 Electro polished
- App. 1 Tr Compressor
- Condenser of appropriate capacity
- Temperature Controller for Internal use
Advantages :
- The main advantage of this system is that it is truly portable.
- It does not required ant external chilled water supply or cooling water supply.
